Objectives of this role

• Ensure software meets high-quality standards by implementing comprehensive testing strategies.
• Define and drive quality goals, including reducing defect rates and increasing test coverage.
• Collaborate closely with development and product teams to align quality assurance practices with business objectives.
• Establish and maintain robust testing frameworks, ensuring timely and reliable feedback throughout the development lifecycle.
• Identify opportunities to optimize testing processes, improving efficiency and effectiveness across projects.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices for software quality.

Daily and Monthly Responsibilities

• Design detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
• Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
• Analyse bugs and errors identified during testing and document them for the development team.
• Execute manual and automated tests, with experience in automation being beneficial.
• Use tools such as TestRail, Postman, browser developer tools, and performance testing tools to execute and manage test processes.
• Recommend software improvements to enhance user experience and functionality.
• Work closely with software developers to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve program issues.
• Maintain updated knowledge of industry trends, tools, and advancements in quality assurance.

Skills and qualifications

• Solid experience in software testing and quality assurance processes.
• Proficiency in manual testing methodologies, with experience in API, Performance testing tools being beneficial.
• Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum development principles.
• Familiarity with tools like TestRail, Postman, browser developer tools, and performance and stability (NewRelic, Kibana, Bugsnag)
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English (C1-C2 level or native).
• A team player with the ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision.
• Adept at using project management and collaboration tools such as Jira.
