2FA For Login, SSO With Campion Education And More.

Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) Login Process 

Avallain Magnet Release 36 introduces 2FA at login, in order to enhance users’ account security.

Important: 

• This feature will be rolled out as ‘off’ for all institutions. ORG Admins will be able to turn it on. 
• 2FA will not be enforced. Users will be able to turn it on or off depending on their preference.

SSO with Campion Education

This release adds a new SSO integration with Campion Education, increasing the options of Single Sign-On available for login.

Important: SSO with Campion Education is only valid for users that already exist on Avallain Magnet and on Campion with the same email.

Account Lockout After Multiple Failed Login Attempts

In Avallain Magnet Release 36, accounts will be locked after multiple failed attempts. This follows international security best practices to protect users’ accounts.

Users who have been locked out from their accounts will receive an email to reset their password.

Important: 

The maximum number of failed attempts allowed before locking the account can be configured at ORG level. Should clients wish to alter the maximum number of attempts, they should reach out to Customer Success.

This feature won’t affect users who log in via SSO and users with Kid roles in Magnet Kids who log in with their username.

Teachers and Teacher Admins will have access to TeacherMatic and all its AI generators directly from the Avallain Magnet interface, further expanding their participation in the process of learning content creation.
